What Filler Flowers?

As a wedding floral designer, I cannot explain how my heart soars when I meet a bride who thinks out of the box. My heart sprouts wings and flies away into a world of creativity where it is not often allowed! I love working with these types of people. I often explain to clients that allowing your wedding vendors some wiggle room and flexibility for creativity is a major plus–out of such flexibility often comes brilliance!

One of my favorite new bouquet styles, and a style brides don’t often know they want until I suggest it, is a monochromatic bouquet of flowers which usually don’t get much attention–think lilacs, veronica, or fever few. These lovely bouquets are simple, unique, and quite cost efficient. After all, these florals are often considered the “filler flowers” and don’t often get to shine on their own. But look how well they do, in fact, shine!
