Wedding Day Emergency Kit

Here are the indispensable items you need in your wedding day “touch-up bag”/emergency kit:

1: Blotting sheets. These are essential to “de-shine” yourself throughout the rest of the day/evening. And it’s a much better alternative than piling on more and more makeup. Brand recommendation: Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets.

2: Mini Hair Spray. Your hair stylist has most likely plastered you with as much hair spray as humanly possible–but this is always a good backup to have on hand.

3: A few extra Bobbi Pins. These are great to have on hand in case a tendril or two decides to migrate out of your up-do!

4: Deodorant. You don’t want to be smelling ripe when you have your first dance, so keep a travel-sized stick in your wedding day bag.

5: Headache/Pain reliever. It’s a long, sometimes stressful day. These are great to keep on hand just in case.

6: Breath Mints. Keep your newly-wed breath fresh!

7: A couple of Band-Aids. Generally, the bride hasn’t “worn in” her wedding day heels, so they are bound to get a bit painful by the end of the day. A could of Band-Aids will help with those pesky blisters so that you can continue to dance the night away!

8: Lipstick/Lip gloss. Bring a sample-sized amount of both, as they are bound to wear off after all the kissing, eating, and drinking you will be doing.

9: Kleenex. Yes, this is a day for tears. Tissues are a must-have, but be sure to blot not wipe in order to keep your makeup in place!

Now assign this bag to one of your trusty bridesmaids, and you will be set for the day! Enjoy!

  1. I would add sanitary towel or tmpon, a needle with white thread and chalk – to hide little stains on your dress.

  2. Good points to remember! Laid down well :)
