Paper: Beyond the Invitation
Paper is not only a great medium for invitations but can be used in unique ways with your wedding décor and overall design. Below are some fun and different ways to use paper details on your wedding day:
Paper Charger Plates

Instead of standard charger plates, try paper chargers. Paper can be cut into oversized squares or circles and act as a paper placemat/charger. Each paper charger can be patterned or solid or even mimic the look of a plate with “edging” printed in ink. Print each one with the menu and guest name for a personalized detail and top with a clear plate.
Paper Pom Pom Balls

You can create a great substitute for flower balls by making pom pom-style balls out of tissue paper. Hang them from the ceiling with ribbon or fishing wire to complement almost any color palette or look.
Paper Garland

Create your own paper garland to hang across the ceremony or reception site. The garland can be as simple or complex as you’d like. Try using oversize craft punches or hand cut the garland snowflake style. Attach the garland or shapes to fishing wire or ribbon and swag across various areas.

Wallpaper Napkin Rings

Wrap each guest’s napkin with a band of wallpaper instead of your standard holder. Wallpaper comes in the most unique patterns with practically every style under the sun: modern, vintage, western, glamour. This is a great and inexpensive way to bring pattern and dimension to your guest tables.

Paper is such a great medium to use in so many different ways. Enjoy exploring the ways paper can be more than just stationery!
