Every once in a while, an innovator comes along and raises the bar for all of their peers. Albert Einstein’s theories in quantum physics. The Beatles launching the British Invasion. Michael Jordan’s balletic basketball moves. Kobayashi devouring his competition.

To this hallowed pantheon, add the names Erin and Jeff, whose ludicrously epic video save the date took the world by storm this past month. Produced in the style of a Hollywood film trailer, the video features explosions, film parodies, and even some voice-over work by Larry Wayne–you know, that guy who narrates blockbuster movie previews.

Perhaps the best part of it all is that Erin and Jeff did it all on a shoestring budget and with the assistance of some very helpful friends; you can read their story about how it all went down on their wedding site.
