Indie Bliss is a group of wedding vendors based in and around Denver, Colorado, who are committed to working with couples pursuing a unique vision for their wedding day. Everyone in the Indie Bliss crew is a regular contributor to the blog, whose goal is to provide ideas, inspiration, and advice to engaged couples both locally and all over the country. We truly hope that the information you find on the site helps make your celebration a little bit more artistic, distinctive, and fun.

Indie Bliss was founded by Nina Barry and Danny de Zayas, who jointly run Nina Barry Photography. When they were planning their Denver wedding in 2008, Nina and Danny were saddened by the lack of resources available to independent-minded, D.I.Y.-leaning, adventurous couples in the area. After photographing dozens of amazing weddings across Colorado, they decided to recruit their favorite, most talented friends in the wedding industry to create Indie Bliss, which launched in February of 2010.

Indie Bliss is about eschewing preconceived notions about what weddings “should” be in favor of exploring what wedding celebrations can be: personal, creative, budget-friendly, intimate, awesome, inspired. It stands against pretense and in favor of personality.

Indie Bliss is for every bride who wants something better for her wedding day than what bridal magazines tell her she needs, for every groom who wants a wedding that rocks, and for every couple that understands the best weddings are the ones where the bride and groom share their personality with their guests.
